Monday 23rd April – The City Pipe – 33 Foster Street St Pauls.
In this month’s talk, we will explore the concept of ‘polarities’ and how to use polarity coaching techniques for powerful outcomes. Our clients sometimes struggle with achieving their goals because of an opposing force which draws them in a less desirable direction. Our featured speaker, Beth Follini, will reveal how you can work with your client’s polarising forces to facilitate a more balanced perspective and lead to more successful and satisfying outcomes.
Beth Follini will introduce an exciting polarity coaching model, based on an original model developed by Sam House and Debra Wilton-Kinney. The basic steps of using polarities in your coaching practice will be shared, followed by the opportunity to practice using polarity coaching techniques with other participants during the session.
In this workshop you will have the opportunity to:
- Develop an understanding of what polarities are and how to introduce polarities into coaching
- Explore how to ‘map’ polarities in coaching
- Discover what part our internal ‘boundary keeper’ plays in keeping us (and our clients) from stepping into a wholeness perspective.
Beth Follini, CPCC, PCC is a Coach, Trainer and Consultant at Ticktock Coaching & Training based in London.
Beth has been a life/professional coach for over six years. She has been featured in national UK media including The Times and The Observer for her work coaching women who are trying to decide whether to have children or not. Her passion for working with polarities as a coach comes from a long held commitment to working around diversity and difference – she has engaged on a personal level with holding the tension between opposites. In 2011, she co-authored an article ‘Polarities in Executive Coaching’ which was published in the International Journal of Management Development. In addition to being a certified co-active coach (CPCC) and PCC, she is also one of a handful of people in Europe to become a certified Conscious Embodiment Instructor.
